The aim of Wellspring of life is to share with women practical ways to grow in their Christian faith that will increasingly affect them everyday. |
September/October 2008 Autumn is such a busy time for many. Those with younger families have got stuck back into term time and many activities which had stopped for a summer break have resumed. I wonder how much of what we do, and are involved with, could be described as the "work of Jesus". The work of Jesus might loosely link the new articles added to the site this month. In the red box below (top link) is an article reminding us where Jesus placed us women in relation to himself. In a position higher than many of us place ourselves - take a look. Below that is a link to some questions to help us think about whether we live freely under God's law or whether there are some other lores taking authority over our actions. This in the subject area of superstitions. The purple box below will link you to an article "Who's in the house?" where I want to lead you to think about whether Jesus is at work in your home. Then by clicking in the green box you will find yourself being asked to think about the benefits of Bible study, giving Jesus more opportunity to work in your life. What ever God has laid on your heart to be praying for, and doing, this month and in the coming days, may you be blessed in your commitment to it. Linda Faber.
